Re:Organized is proud to be an official sponsor of the Mustard Seed Extreme Makeover, a community-based total renovation of Victoria’s biggest food bank and community centre, happening May 23 to June 2! Stephanie drew up the plans for renovating the housewares and the clothing storage rooms, and our team of professional organizers will descend on the Mustard Seed on Saturday to start putting things away.

Paul Latour, creator and visionary of the HeroWork program, is an amazing man. He’s pulled together this half million dollar renovation, got local businesses and individuals to give time, money, goods and services, and made it all happen! We’re delighted to have the opportunity to work with him.

We did it! The Mustard Seed Street Church and Food Bank was a thing of beauty (and functionality) in time for the big reveal at 4 pm today!

A big shout out to my fellow organizers, who worked long hours to help make this renovation happen: Barbara McDonell of Clutter Queen Services; Merilyn Litster of Roomraiders; Anne Nelson; Deanna Dusting of Emerald Home Transitions; Saija Tissari of Ducks in a Row Organizing; and to Keith Macgowan, who isn’t a professional organizer, but joined our team anyway. You all rock!

Watch the documentary on CHEK TV on June 18th at 9 pm.
